We were delighted with the positive attention our latest CD A Cavalier Christmas received in the media.  It was included in - and was often the preference of - Christmas CD selections; it received airtime on Radio 3; and made it into the Christmas charts!   We followed this up by featuring on Radio 4's New Year's Eve Morning Service, recorded at the chapel at Castle Howard.   We're now looking forward to our sequence of services at York Minster in the run-up to Easter, beginning with Ash Wednesdsay Eucharist (14 February, 5.15pm); Thursday Lent Complines at 9pm (from 22 February).  During Holy Week we sing Compline at 7.30pm on Monday 26 and Tuesday 27; Stainer's The Crucifixion at 7.30pm on Wednesday 28; Tenebrae at 9.30pm on Thursday 29.  Before that, on Saturday 17 March at 7.30pm, we have a concert in the Chapter House featuring music for choir and cello, including Tavener's Svyati and Richard Rodney Bennett's A Farewell to Arms, and works by Macmillan and Gjeillo.  A relatively light few months, by more reent standards!
