Knot and wander around their Living History encampments and find
out what life was like for the soldiers who defended and attacked
York during the Siege.

After the mine under
St Mary's Tower was blown on 16 June, Parliamentary soldiers burst
into the city to be met with stiff resistance from the defenders.
Witness the skirmish that took place around the ruins of
St Mary's Abbey as The Sealed Knot recreate the events of that fateful
day.
