The Ebor Singers sing the evening service of Compline throughout Lent and Holy Week in York Minster. This CD includes a complete service of Compline, with his Grace the Archbishop of York leading the service and recorded in the chapel at Bishopthorpe Palace, the residence of the Archbishop.

The service is complimented by other pieces, either for Compline or with texts and music of a similar reflective mood.
