Fauré Requiem; Parry I was glad; Vaughan Williams Psalm 100; Elgar Great is the Lord
Of the many settings of the Requiem, Gabriel Fauré's is possibly the most widely loved. It is its very quality of understatement which contributes to the works universal appeal. We perform it alongside choral works by English composers, including Parry's I was glad and Vaughan Williams' Psalm 100, both sung at Elizabeth II's coronation.
Tickets: £12 / conc. £10 / student £3
